QOTW: Do Rainbeaus Go For Bald/Short-Haired Women?
Hair is very important to Black women, especially when it comes to the issue of desirability. With me discussing the issue of hair and black women is my friend Victoria. Victoria wears her hair really short; very close cut and refers to herself as a bald woman. She is having trouble in the dating world.
For some reason, men love women with long hair. Apparently, long, thick hair is a sign of fertility.

Question: Is Victoria narrowing her dating options wearing her hair short? Do white men like women who wear their hair short?

I have seen bald and women with really short hair before, and I think its very sexy. With or without, Black Women are my beautiful preference

If a man is only interested in the hair on a woman, then he is not deserving of her. She is more than her hair. We are more than our hair. We have a brain, a heart, a soul, we love and we give of ourselves our one and only King. We only ask for the same respect in return. You might need to change the accessories with your look, and spice it up just a little.

I have long hair that I've worn in dreadlocks for 14 years. Haven't been in a relationship over 7 years, or asked on a date in five. Perhaps it is because I am a mature woman, and my hair is turning white/gray. I don't know. So much for people who assume women with long hair are always dating.

Some women wear it well, others don't. It's really that simple. If one's eyes are deep and expressive, then a bald look brings the eyes out. If you're cow-eyed, you'll look retarded.

All men like hair first off..My hair has been natural and short for a lot of years. There are some men that love it and some that don't...some men find it exotic and sexy and some don't. You can't worry about what people think..you just have to do you.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however to be adult about this....yes some people are going to find it unattractive that's their preference and they can't be ostrasized for it. But their are people who may find it attractive. The world isn't filled with people who will stop dead in their tracks and find you the most beautiful/handsome person they've ever seen.

My answer is split. My relationships have been pretty much fluid throughout my lifetime between Jewish women and Black women. I find something extremely alluring in a Black woman with a bald head. I cannot say the same for Jewish (or other White) women. I'm speaking of a woman who I would find attractive in the first place. The added allure of her wearing her hair bald would merely make her all the more attractive to me. Unfortunately, none of the Black women in my life to date have been bald, but maybe in the future.

I've worn my hair bald and have grown it out past my back. I've experienced no difference in the level of how much attention I have gotten from men at any given hair length. I believe that people like what they like and this is highly subjective. I also believe there will always be someone attracted to a person with any given look/hair length. Changing looks or hairstyles will not change who you are inside. The most important relationship that we will ever have is with the self. That's the one person you can never avoid or separate from. As long as one is comfortable with the change they think they can or should make to become more attractive to others, then by all means go for it. Conversely, if one feels it to be a total compromise of the authentic self, then stay true to what you feel comfortable with. Someone will be attracted to it. Just my opinion.

If hair is a deal breaker for some, then I wouldn't even consider them as a possible date. It won't just be about the hair, it'll be about a body part or something else. Life is too short trying to conform to some dude's impossible idea of beauty.

Hello all, I've been wearing the above style (bald) for almost 3 years. I am not sure if it's the reason why I have not had many dates or that I am single. One thing is for certain, I will not change my appearance to people please. I love my unique style and the freedom to express myself. I love every bit of me, confident and yet I am humble. I would love to date and one day be in a loving relationship. However, everything in due time. In my opinion, the hair doesn't make the woman. Its a good heart and spirit that makes a woman phenomenal.

Are men falling in love with a woman or her hair? What if some other body part is missing or not what is considered attractive? When do we go deeper than than just what we see? Why not get to know the person and then find those things that up the ante? I've had long hair and short hair. Colored hair and now more white than salt and pepper. It's how you rock what you got and the confidence to be comfortable in your own skin. I'm not pretty, but I attract attention and how I treat people and carry myself attracts more attention. I personally don't think that hair matters, but again like a lot of things, it's about personal preferences. I've seen some beautiful women rocking that really short look.

Hmm, not too sure about me liking a woman with shorter hair than a bald man like myself. If she uses a #4 guide comb or up then that's fine but if you go down below the 3 (for those who are unfamiliar, think shorter than peach fuzz) then nah, no good. It goes from having hair to putting suntan lotion on the skin in under a few millimeters. Otherwise, we would look like two eggs that ran away from the egg carton.

I have always said, and still maintain, but if a woman is beautiful with hair, she is beautiful without. The video would not play, but if the included photograph is of the woman in question, I would absolutely date her. She is very beautiful.

That is Skin .. i love her and her confident. she held herself to high esteem and anywhere she is ,she doesn't feel ashamed to demonstrate whom she is and her hair. Some women look pretty good without hair while some doesn't .Another lady that rocks her hair well is Lu pita Nyong'o . Good to know that Italians youths love her so much.

There are women who are bald or with short hair that are beautiful, even though my preference is women with at least enough hair to gently pull on during intimacy. Also, since I currently have long, but neat dreadlocks, I'm usually more into women with long hair (but that's not set in stone). The problem with some women who have short hair is whenever a man doesn't want them they assume it's because of their hairstyle when it's usually some other reason that man isn't into them. I've seen plenty of short haired women who're gorgeous though. But you also need to have the right shaped head for it.

No that isn't true. I'm a proud short hair carrier and I love it. Many people equate me to different celebrities including Alec wec, Naomi Campbell and many more.
