Why white men love the black woman

Posted by James, 31 Aug

Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?

It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.

Find your soulmate on DateWhoYouWant

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.

However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.

So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?

Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.

Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

I just look forward to my first date with someone outside of my race. It wasnt on purpose that I have never dated outside the box I was never asked seriously. And when someone asked my number I said yes and still no call. So still waiting.

I am interested in dating/marrying the perfect man for me. If I limit myself to one race, be it mine or any, I feel as though I cut my chances of meeting him, drastically! I am a true Christian, which means I love all people, period. I am hopeful & excited, even though I haven't had any connections on this site, since Ive been a member here....

I'm a 21 year old black female and although I am young I've always been attracted to every race. Unfortunately, every race wasn't attracted to me. As I got older and dating I only stayed in my race. EVERY single guy I dated just about cheated on me, I never was treated with respect and for I don't know what reason. Most guys didn't understand how education was important to me and how my parents pressured me to get an education. Rather than partying I was always doing homework. I got tired of the heartbreaks and decided to stop going after the common denominator SO I switched it up. The first white guy I dated came to my house to pick me up and go to the movies. I didn't go on an actual date until this guy came along. (I was 20 at the time) It was always "so when we gonna chill" "or "so when you gonna come see me?" In my generation this means nothing but sex in other words. I can remember when he came to pick me up my mom was looking out the curtain screaming "OOOO, he got a little limp in his step!" Which he did, but it was cute. We went out to dinner after the movies and I got back home in decent time. He didn't try any funny business, I didn't even kiss him on the first date. The next day he sent me flowers and a cute card that I still have till this day. After that it set the bar for me. We were together for a while, but I transferred to a different college and he went off into the military. I do have a boyfriend now though and he is also white. I get treated so much better. I don't believe the all black men are bad, just the ones I've dated made me not want to try anymore. In high school nowadays they think they're too good for black girls and just go for the mixed girls or white girls. No offense they're beautiful too. I just don't like being voted out because of the color of my skin. Trust me my confidence is high and mighty. I will walk around and think I am the finest thing on earth :)

I am glad to see the lines of color being erased when it comes to finding someone who essentially respects and loves you for who you are, but I think this can go either way when it comes to relationships. It isn't just a black and white world. Relationships come in all different ways now a days. Our differences is truly what makes interracial dating so great and it is the reason why it is becoming an even more common practice.

I also have a real appreciation for this article. I read another article that specifically said that Black women were not only unattractive to White men but were considered the most unattractive women of all other races. Being very attracted to white men I was very disgusted that particular person's opinion.

There are quite a few white guys who wouldn't have a problem having sex with a black woman. But if they see a white guy in a serious relationship with a black woman they will tell them they are wrong for that. I had that presented to me personally. That really makes me mad.

It should have made you feel good for doing, 'You' Actually, you stirred up the bad in them which says you must be doing something right. My advice to you is keep doing what makes you happy and be hopeful others can do the same. Sometimes a person's disapproval of your life is a reflections of improvements need to be made in their own life.

Some years ago, I read about a "conservative" WW who attacked IR couples. She wrote that we shouldn't get married and if we do, we shouldn't have children and called for the mandatory sterilization of IR couples to prevent us from having children. If I remember correctly, she also said that if IR couples did have children, the children should be removed from their parents' custody.

When I first got to high school in 67 it was an urban school. I attended all-white schools since Kindergarten, but everyone went there for high school. It was 60/40 black/white. I was a shy kid and struck out with white girls - most of whom weren't very nice to me (it was the sixties and if you weren't in with the cool crowd you were kept outside. The first girl to ever pay attention to me, and flirted with me was black. I think I was 14 or 15, and she was very nice, and made me feel worthwhile - I mean she thought I was good looking and talked to me as if I had value as a human being - no white girl ever talked to me like that. I wish I had the courage then to ask her out (as I said I was shy and I didn't have the wherewithal to buck societal prejudices and my family then (OK I was a coward) - both of which I regret very much today). It took me a few years to work up to dating black women (by the time I reached my early twenties I was fearless), and for me it always was a far better experience than the white women I dated or was in relationships with over the years - acceptance of me, no judgements, a willingness to share interests. Love is love; I just know for me I want to find my soul mate and I want her to be black. I'm not sure if I explained this well at all but I felt the need to say something. I hope everyone here meets their true love.

The confidence with which they walk, The manner in which they talk, Could it be the sway of the hips? Or the lushness of their lips, Maybe it's the beauty of their hair, or the mahogany skin when bear, I do luv the lack of inhibition, when they love without condition, Or when the music makes them move, With that incredible sensual groove, Or maybe it's that magnetic pull, As my defenses begin to lull, As they put my concerns to rest, Making my comfort level at it's best, These are some traits all but few, The black woman I give their do, As the most beautiful woman on earth, That one day will give my life rebirth,

I agree Brenda. I think you should like someone because you are attracted to their personality as well as their looks. Don't just like someone out of curiousity, like testing relationship as a fad. Like someone for his or her true self, while having genuine feelings. I can't stand when a man has to use stereotypical words to express his desire for a woman like, "wanting to taste your chocolate". Really, is that all you want, lol. Some may say nubian or ebony queen is offensive, but I would rather you just say, I like you for you, no background qualities having to be directly affliated. You may want to be called the "italian stallion" but if you are the person I am interested in, you would just be my boo. Thanks for addressing this in your comment.

Why do I love black women and have I dated them exclusively and preferentially since 1996? Because they are the most beautiful women on the planet. Because they are fierce in spirit and don't take any cr@p from silly people. Because they make themselves super presentable no matter where they go. Because they know what they want and how to get it. Because they succeed in life having faced more discrimination and obstacles than anyone can ever imagine, from white AND black people and from men.... And with regard to the staring issue I know I look like a neo nazi and that freaks out a lot of white folks seeing me with a beautiful black woman. That is a problem only to those with myopic worldviews. Like my 86 year old Dutch momma used to say "if people stare at you you must be very interesting". and the last reason I love black women would be my beautiful multi ethnic son that I love to death. The human gene pool must be stirred from time to time....and some of the most beautiful and talented children are the result of this. It's natural. it's right. And the time to date more multi ethnically is now. Don't let society brainwash you that men prefer blonds. Real men prefer black women.

Not to offend any other race of women on this site but I personally find black women to be the ultimate women. My love for black women is equal to my love for the air I breathe. Black women are truly a gift from God and I can only see myself with a black woman. It doesn't matter if she is thick or skinny, its like I'm just hypnotized by them and I see them as the ultimate beauty. Black women are beautiful, Amen!

why must these always be about black women, there are other races out here in this world, but everything is centered on black women, these women are perfectly normal and deserve the same love as any other woman seeks, I am a white man and myself I find black women attractive, and go out with them for the right reasons and not as a trophy or mantel piece but as a human being these ladies deserve more credit or respect then their given, all I see is what the black women have done or did what about all the other races of women who have done the same not a darn thing said about that, I can see where most this comes from and it comes from haters that need to mind their own business, and it will be a cold day in hell when someone tells me who I can date, I am a white man and I love black women and be just as proud to be with her as much as any other woman, to all the black ladies out here you have all my respect

I worry because there are next to no Caucasian men available in my country...I'm on the dating sites and those who have written only comment on my appearance and what they want to do :O :(...Its disheartening and on top of that I have a child so I find myself feeling as though its a hopeless case... I thought my attraction was something "wrong" and I sat down and thought if I was attracted for any wrong reasons but as long as I can remember I've been attracted to Caucasian men...not that I haven't also been attracted to black/Asian/native American men... To end on a positive note: I'm glad for this site and openness about persons who are in some way or another just like me :D

Don't give up. You have to have morals and respect for yourself. You don't want to be with someone who is only attracted to you for the wrong reasons, as you pointed out. This is 2014, I hope more people look beyond superficial beliefs.

I've dated black, white, mixed, and Hispanic. So far, women are women and men are men. Cultures differ but we're all looking for a connection that lasts, so I figure, why limit myself to one race, color, or creed. Quick factoid. The human race, no matter race, religion, color, or country of origin is 99.9% the same. 0.01% genetic difference. Other mammals have at least 1% difference. Our differences are so insignificant on the physical level. It's merely cultural. Me, I'm looking for my partner. Someone willing to help cut down trees, cut and chop wood, till the garden, mow the lawn, pull the weeds...I'm a country boy (not country music!) and am looking for that mate to help do the things together than make a house and yard a home and a welcoming place for friends and family.

I believe that black and white are just the colours of skin an its not a barrier for love. The beauty of black skin is as attractive as white skin..I don't know if all the readers know about certain communities in India called Dalits.Women from majority of these communities are black in colour, but are educationally qualified and financially sound. Some of the women like me face competitive examinations and get meritorious positions.like women from afro-american descent, these women also supports inter racial relations in marriage and love.so i strongly feel that white men-black women marriage should be encouraged as it brings out a new organised feeling of love and life!!!

I believe that a person should be with the person that makes them happy and who treats them with respect and kindness, skin color shouldn't matter it, it's the inner being that counts. Life is too short and days aren't promised, so live life to the fullest and find the one that completes you. I have dated african american men all my dating life and sometimes white men and also hispanic, men are men andyet they are different and individual. "Would love to find my soulmate before my time on earth draws to a close." We shouldn't be scared to find love in other races, just open our hearts to love and the opportunity for happiness.
